Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

1/2 stick butter or margerine
2 bunches fresh broccoli (if unavailable, use frozen broccoli)
4 chicken breasts, cooked
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 can mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup grated cheese (mozzarella, cheddar)
1 cup bread crumbs

Directions

Lightly cook the broccoli florets in boiling water until they are slightly tender, taking care not to overcook them. In a large casserole dish, melt the butter and add in the cooked broccoli and chicken. Mix and spread it out evenly into the dish. Mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, mushroom soup, and cream of chicken soup. Pour mixture over the broccoli and chicken. Cover with grated cheese and top with the bread crumbs. Bake at 180C / 350F for 30 minutes.
